Ephesians 2:20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

D1

A D1 class is really about doctrine and basic fundamentals that all Christians should understand. It is the foundation that is laid before moving into more advanced things that will be covered in a D2 class. On this page you will find some basic things to start with or to get your wheels spinning about this phase of discipleship. Feel free to take my work and expand upon it based on your people and where they are at in their Christian walk. You should also include expositions of Scripture in your D1 class. Pick a book of the bible and go verse by verse through it, teaching people how to understand the passage, how to point things to Christ, and any doctrine that comes up along the way. You can choose if you would like to go through a book of the bible first and then move into some of this curriculum or if you would like to start with this curriculum and then go into books of the bible. There are other resources for sale on this page that can help you go through books of the bible if you so chose to use. They may be helpful for your first few classes until you feel comfortable doing it on your own.
