A Pagan Reformation
Matthew 25:32 “All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
There has been a great shift in America and really all across the world concerning the way the world see's and tolerates Christianity. All prosperous countries in the world have become what they are or were because Christianity became the dominant religion that separated the false religions of paganism and introduced a religion that was the opposite of hedonism, a true religion that was from the beginning. God created the world. He is who makes the rules, and His rules are holy, righteous, and good. But the hearts of man have been wicked since the fall that happened with Adam. We can see the evidence of that all the way back to the first two kids ever born: Cain and Able. Able was doing what was right and good in the site of God and Cain hated him for it. Cain killed his own brother because Able was obedient and pleasing to God. Rage, jealousy and selfishness is what drove Cain to kill Able. The only thing that has really changed since then is the amount of sheep compared to the amount of goats. Today the goats far outnumber the sheep and the goats have always hated the sheep but it hasn't been so apparent in many years.
Genesis 4
The hatred the world has for Christianity was somewhat suppressed during the mid 4th century with Constantine, who made Christianity the world religion. Prior to Constantine Christians were heavily persecuted in some of the most terrible ways imaginable. Pagans were now the criminals and had to pretend to be what they were not: sheep. Eventually Christianity became the world view but the mixture of sheep and goats as a state religion was devastating because the goats influenced the sheep to the point that it was hard to distinguish the difference between the two because they all claimed to be sheep. Roman Catholicism began to form which reflected paganized Christianity. This was true until the time of The Reformation where God called His people out of a system of blended paganism and Christianity, that was a false religion, and into a very clear and distinct Christ centered biblical church. Reformation spread across the world in the greatest revival the world has ever witnessed, yet overtime the lines became blurry once again, confusing the difference between the sheep and the goats. Christianity was the world view and would remain so until the time of the enlightenment, yet the persecution of true Christians continued in a very violent way. Goats claiming to be sheep would begin to martyr true sheep because they hated us, just like Cain and Able. People who claimed to be Christians killing people who were true Christians.
I I find it strange that in many ways the hatred the world has toward Christians has been aimed in a different way, twisted to make the sheep look lie the haters rather than the goats. They call us "haters" because we say things they don't want to hear, things that God says in His Word, not things from our own thoughts. The goats hate the sheep when the sheep speak the truth of Scripture. It should be no surprise to us that the world hates us. Jesus tells us in John 15:18 “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. 20 “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 “But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. 22 “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 “He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 “If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. 25 “But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’ Today the world has become more and more open about their hatred of Christianity, their hatred toward Jesus Christ and His people. This became very evident with the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk and the celebration people had because of his murder. It is shocking to see the way that street preachers are treated when they go to gay pride parades, where paganism has once again began to become mainstream. Hollywood has pushed this agenda for years, and now it is manifested in every possible way, as it is broadcast on TV and the internet across the world, which adds fuel to the pagan reformation.
